The following diagram simply shows where each image will be printed. Scroll down to see higher resolution detailed designs. The biggest difference between the final design and the second round comps is the decision to go with a "Digipak." The light circle shape on the disc tray diagram is an indicator of the plastic holster for the disc.

Nothing has changed on this version.

The basic design that lives under the disc.

The following diagram simply shows where each image will be printed. Scroll down to see higher resolution detailed designs. As you'll notice, the 4-panel design leaves the inside of the booklet blank and white based on DiscMakers template. If you want to include imagery on the inside as well, DiscMakers does charge extra for this from my understanding.

Larger font, larger and darker black glow around band name.

The back of the booklet showing all copy, credits, etc.

The disc design. We may want to consider including copyright info.

The back of the jewel case / tray. Suggestion: Perhaps the dog is shown too many times? We could put a "TV dinner" or the face of one of the animal people in place of the dog here.

Human bodies, animal heads as requested. Large, bold font for band title. They're watching TV, eating TV dinners.

Very similar to cover, zoomed in. Very few text details on this initial CD design, will add next round with track titles, copyright info, as needed.

More of an "indie" screenprinted look, uses a photograph of an iceberg taken from above and below the water surface.

This CD design uses a 2 or 3 color process on a CD, with a reflective, mirror surface showing through (surface gradient created as a sample, actual CD surface will be usual full mirrored plastic). Again, very simple but more text will be added later.

As contract states, none of these designs should be shown to the public until final design is agreed upon and handed off. Only then will the final design be available to Jamie DiTringo / Rosewood Ghosts. All other versions will then continue to be confidential and copyrighted unless otherwise agreed upon. © 2010 Michael Nix Design, LLC.
