"We will make visible the as yet invisible" - Bruce Mau

- We visited revolutionary sociologist and designer Bruce Mau's exhibit "Massive Change" at the Museum of Contemporary Art (MCA) in the loop. It is perhaps the most inspiring and educational space within any museum across the country. While it addresses the innumerable issues at hand today with pollution, global warming, and overpopulation, Massive Change is overwhelmingly positive, much unlike most social commentary today. Mau doesn't suggest. He commands with terms like "We will create urban shelter for the entire world population."
- My only critique of Bruce Mau's revolution is that it rests within the pages of a beautiful book and the walls of a major museum; I'll be much more interested in his theories, in practice, when they reach the hands of our western lawmakers and omnipotent corporate executives at whom this world changing work is aimed.
